Educational event series with Alzheimer's experts
Ascension Living Lakeshore at SienaYou’re invited to Lakeshore at Siena for an educational event series with the Alzheimer's Association to learn about how to best support your loved one living with dementia. Also, you will learn about beneficial services and tips that can help support and provide peace of mind for caregivers; as we understand memory loss affects the entire family.
Following each event, appetizers and refreshments will be served. Also, you can tour our Shorelight Memory Support neighborhood, located on beautiful Lake Michigan.

Family and Caregiver Support groups sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association®
Ascension Living Lakeshore at SienaCarol Bahkre, Alzheimer's Association Volunteer, will Facilitate the group and encourage a supportive environment to allow the group to share their experiences, give advice to others and tell compelling stories . This group is for family and/or friends of a loved one that has dementia related diseases, to help:
• Develop a support system
• Exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions
• Talk through issues and ways of coping
• Share feelings, needs and concerns.
• Learn about community resources.Support group meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month from 11 a.m. to noon.

You need to call at least 1 week ahead of the next meeting to RSVP, as space is limited.
