First Tier, Downstream and Related Entity Compliance (FDR)

Ascension Living PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (“PACE”). PACE is a Medicare/Medicaid program. As such, Ascension Living PACE must adhere to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (“CMS”) Medicare Parts C and D compliance program requirements (“Requirements”) with few exceptions.

Ascension Living PACE partners with individuals and organizations in support of providing the most comprehensive and efficient care to our participants. Partnering entities are referred to as First Tier, Downstream or Related Entities (“FDR”) by CMS. Partnerships are defined through contractual arrangements.

Ascension Living PACE, together with its contracting partners, are committed to compliance with the Requirements. The Ascension Living PACE Compliance and Fraud Waste and Abuse Program outlines the Requirements. As part of this program, partnering entities commit to:

  • Identifying and eliminating fraud, waste and abuse (“FWA”)
  • Complying with laws and regulations
  • Implementing compliance policies

As a contracting partner, each year your organization is obligated to attest to the Requirements described in the FDR Compliance Guide listed below. An individual with appropriate authority may complete the Provider Attestation by clicking below.
