Dr. Mahdi serves as the Medical Director of Ascension Living HOPE, maximizing goals to deliver healthcare excellence.  She has  been practicing medicine for 30 years and is certified in family practice by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a certified medical director by the National PACE Association.  Dr. Mahdi has extensive experience and compassion in geriatrics and is a two-time winner of the Ascension Guardian Angel award for exceptional patient care. She's a member of Kansas Medical Association, Sedgwick County Medical Association, and  National PACE Association.

Carrie Cohen

Meet Dr. Cohen

“What I like about practicing at HOPE is serving the community with our fabulous team.”

Dr. Cohen is a physician with over 20 years of experience in primary and post-acute care, long term care, and PACE care. She serves on the faculty of the University of Kansas School of Medicine and has been practicing medicine in Kansas since 2003.

Courtney is a family nurse practitioner with 8 years of experience in primary care, geriatrics, and corrections. She received her board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

APRN-Nurse Practitioner

“I enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them promote optimal health.”

Ashley is a nurse practitioner with 14 years of experience in nursing and primary care.  She brings a  broad nursing experience, from emergency room care to  family practice. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
