SLA residents also have the option to rent from a landlord in the local community. Ascension staff will provide support and guidance to them in their home, including transportation, medication monitoring and more.
You can have Privacy and independence with peace of mind, too.

Community Living Facility
Independence is important for adults with developmental disabilities. We get that. Our community living facility is perfect for individuals 18 years and older looking for a secure, comfortable place to live.
We welcome adults living with deficits in three to seven major life skills areas and have an IQ below 55.
The seven major life skills areas are: self-care, language, self-direction, mobility, learning, capacity for independent living and financial management. We are licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
